HOW HAVE OUR PLANS EVOLVED?
As a result of early engagement with Brentwood Council and the Essex Quality Review Panel, our scheme has evolved to:
Reduce development from up to 200 homes; to up to 170 new homes, creating more accessible open space on the scheme.
Increase the size of buffer zones, which include trim trails and play on the way features, to pull development away from site boundaries, neighbours and existing trees/hedgerows, protecting the areas of the site with the greatest biodiversity.
Remove the internal loop road to minimise crossing the existing hedgerows.
Reduce building heights to a maximum of 2.5 storeys, in keeping with the local area.
